![]() Remember the amount of chinooks following close to the sandbanks a few months ago? The first time it happened, they implemetned a "hotfix" <- (took way to long to call it a hotfix) and they did set it back to the prior behavior, which fixed everything.Īnd now it did return again with a new attempt hehe.Īlso in the recent past they even made some little tweak about fishspawn zones during a normal weekly maintenance, which not many people did realize. I bet my shirt that that happened just coincidentally, because they tried / are trying to implement bottom fishing bite mechanics :-) The problem is that this happened over 3 months ago and the Devs are "screwing" around with bite mechanics, fish/reel/rod/line behavior literally at every patch.įor instance the new "predator bite mechanic" with full tension at the line but you are unable to hook them / bobber bait was lost. like in a traditional RTS campaign.Yeah there were several videos made with that underwater glitch. I can gush all day, but bottom line is that it's all beautifully written, but doesn't have a hardcoded storyline. Also end game crisises - for example war between two formerly dormant fallen empires with technology levels far beyond anything the rest of the galaxy can put out, or a literal Tyranid swarm arriving to eat everything from beyond the dark space. There are precursor races events, planets have archeologial digs filled with ancient secrets, giant space creatures fly around, nano-plague from the closed off sector of the galactic network breaks out etc. you get machine rebellion if you build synths without giving them rights (Or you can be a machine empire yourself and go Skynet on the rest of the galaxy), or one of your planets becomes a haven for augmented people who start seeing themselves superior to the rest of your race due to alterations they went through. ![]() ![]() Story events happen from interaction between empires or certain paths chosen - i.e. You create your own space faring race and empire with whatever system of government you want. Click to expand. It's more of an emergent storyline with tons of events happening. ![]()
